As I mentioned in a previous post, I’ve had the honor of knowing both Lisa and Cyrus before there was ever a “Lisa and Cyrus”; and it’s been a privilege (and entertaining) to watch their love blossom over the years. We revisited our old stomping grounds of Washington DC and Northern Virginia for their beautiful summer wedding at St. Dominic’s Catholic Church followed by their super festive celebration at the Hyatt Regency in Crystal City. One of the greatest things about documenting friends’ weddings are the familiar faces and characters who attend them, especially when the couple’s social circles overlap ours. 10+ years ago, I’m pretty sure I was the guy at the party with the obnoxiously large camera in everyone’s faces. 10+ years have passed, and it doesn’t appear much has changed :). Lisa’s day started at the Hyatt Regency in Crystal City, VA.
