When we arrived at Negar and Jason’s hotel in Jersey City that morning, we knew it was going to be an awesome day. The weather was mild, with a few clouds crawling slowly across the late summer sky. As I moved between the bride and groom’s rooms, I found it hilarious that they were both watching the same program while getting ready: Ferris Bueller’s Day Off…with a side of Chinese food to boot. What better way to kick off a celebration of happily ever? It was appropriate, to say the least. After all, these two were playing hooky while the residents of San Francisco were wondering where the two most awesome chiropractors in the world were hiding :).
Most brides these days have a pair of ceremony shoes, and dancing shoes. Good idea!
These would be the other pair :).
Whoever thought of putting a giant grassy field (and the Manhattan skyline) behind a wedding venue is genius, I tell you :).
Which evil genius brought marshmallows to the party?!?

As for us here at HQ, I’ll be trading my chilly weekend up here in NJ for a chilly weekend down in MD…starting this afternoon! I’m going to be a road warrior from now till Tuesday, whilst Karis resumes her role as mommy-extraordinaire. I swear the kids will be in college by the time I get home. Our wedding season still has 7 more weeks to go, and we’re loving every single minute of it :).
See you guys on the flip side!
