When I first met Jeannine back in 2012(ish) at a wedding showcase (while she was helping her friend plan a wedding), she made it abundantly clear that I would be photographing her (Jeannine’s) wedding, whenever that may be. We hear this all the time, so we simply politely nodded and thought nothing of it.
Fast-forward 8 years (ish), it appears that Jeannine wasn’t just being polite that evening; she absolutely meant it, and we soon found ourselves in one of my newest favorite venues in New Jersey – The Art Factory in Paterson, NJ. This place is a photographers’ playground, and served as the perfect backdrop for fellow creatives like Jeannine & Dillon.
The icing on this proverbial wedding cake was all the fresh powdery snow that was falling from the sky on their wedding day, the first snowfall of the winter! We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day for this couple, and I’m beyond thrilled that we finally had the honor and privilege to photograph this wedding, 8 years in the making (for me, at least!).
From the food, to the space, to the jazz band’s jam session during their cocktail hour, it was everything Jeannine & Dillon could expect it to be (and us as well!). We wish these two lovebirds a lifetime of happiness, and we can’t wait to see what life has in store for them!
