Just imagine: it’s the end of the year; all the work is done (for the most part), the books are tucked away, and the schedules have been cleared for the rest of the holidays. And just as you’re closing up the shop, the door chimes clang loudly and in stumbles a lovely couple who just happened to be walking by and loved what they saw through the shop window. It’s closing time, but you do what any good business owner would do: you take their coats, make them a cup of tea, and give ’em the best service you’ve got :).
Victoria & Cesar quite literally squeezed into our calendar at the very last minute, and we’re so honored and thrilled that they did. Their story is that of a whirlwind romance, made in Washington DC and blossomed over 5662km of internet cables between them. In every sense of the word, they were quite literally worlds apart – English was not the native language for either of them, but they were in love, and that’s really all that mattered. When you look at those two faces – it’s quite clear that these two are just overflowing with boundless affection for one another. We had so much fun photographing these two love birds eloping in one of the most romantic cities in the world, and wrapped up with a romantic stroll in Central Park for a night they won’t soon forget.
