People don’t always remember what you say to them, or even what you do for them (need further proof? Just ask my kids!). But one thing’s for sure: people will always remember the way you made them feel. As it applies to Jennifer & Luis, I remember feeling nothing but genuine warmth, joy and love – from the moment I met them during their Baltimore engagement session, to their equally beautiful wedding at the 1840s Plaza in Downtown Baltimore. It wasn’t just how they shared their life with me, but how they shared their life with others that truly gave me all the feels. I remember a very specific moment during their rainy engagement session in Baltimore, where they wanted to help an old homeless lady cross a busy street with her cart full of her belongings. I mean seriously – who does that these days? Not enough people, that’s for sure. So if Jennifer & Luis are willing to show that kind of compassion for a complete stranger, can you imagine that amount of love and kindness they’re sharing with each other, along with their family and friends? It would be boundless, I can tell you that much!

Jennifer & Luis spent their wedding day on the sprawling property of the historic 1840s Plaza in Downtown Baltimore, smack in the middle of my old stomping grounds. Nostalgia aside, we had such a wonderful time documenting their emotional outdoor ceremony in the courtyard of the 1840s Plaza, and sharing plenty of laughter with these two lovebirds in some of the most amazing summer light that Baltimore has ever seen. Together with their friends and family, they danced the night away and wrapped up their perfect evening with sparklers. I mean…why not, right?
