Every now and then, it gets a little easy to get lost in the creative process of our work. Am I lighting this correctly? How’s my composition? Am I inadvertently making his/her [insert body part here] look less than awesome? I constantly have to remind myself that a photographer’s responsibility lies well beyond the beautiful, properly composed/lit portraits; the images we create are historical documents, ones that encompasses one of the happiest days in a couple’s life. The work we do is important, its proof which can be found in the dozens of very specific photo requests that I get every year. And just as reliably, I’m always honored (relieved, actually) that I’m able to provide these invaluable images to our clients.
I first met Sylvana & Phil last year at her sister/cousin/best friend’s wedding, so I was more than thrilled to be seeing all these wonderful familiar faces again. After a quick pit-stop at Lambert Castle, we kept the party going at the One and Only Westmount Country Club!
