Though I’m certainly no expert on the Jersey Shore, I can say definitively that Wildwood has to be one of my favorite beach destinations in NJ. I first learned of this wonderful town several years ago when my wife planned an impromptu family trip as a much-needed break from our busy wedding season. I loved everything; from the well-preserved hotels from generations past, to one of the most awesome man-powered vehicles I’ve ever seen in my life: the surrey. Think Fred Flintstone’s car. Now add four passengers and a whole bunch of pedals, and you’ve got a recipe for a jolly good time. Whether the passengers were drunk with happiness (or spirits or whatever have you), I could always count on seeing smiling faces filled with joy as they pedaled along the boardwalk. Sarah & Mike would be no different, as I hitched a ride with them without hesitation (they didn’t have to ask me twice!).
