For those of you who’ve been following our work for a while (long before our rebrand in early 2019), you would’ve noticed that my bio page had not changed very much in 10 years. The main reason? I hate writing about myself. But even more importantly, who reads that crap anyway?
Ryan did, apparently!
In an effort to avoid seeming like a self-important “artiste”-wannabe, I remember talking about my love of donuts and cheeseburgers instead (with a little bits and pieces of photography sprinkled in). And as luck would have it, donuts and cheeseburgers were precisely what Ryan & Lauren shared together on their first date and the rest was history. So once Ryan read my bio, their decision to have us document their wedding seemed like a no-brainer. Thank goodness Ryan & Lauren found me before my recent rebrand, lest they also share my love of alpacas and noodle soups as well!
Lauren & Ryan tied the knot this past summer at the Liberty House in Jersey City, with a gorgeous outdoor garden ceremony with the famous NYC skyline behind them. And quite honestly, I don’t think they could’ve picked a better day!
