To describe this wedding celebration as simply “awesome” would be the understatement of the century. We knew we were in for a treat when we finally found a storage area for our camera bags/equipment behind a towering wall of (I kid you not) at least 15 giant speakers on the stage. But more on that later. Vivian and Richard had been planning this celebration from Georgia, which is where they currently hang their hats. So this was essentially a coming-home (of sorts) for Vivian, with all the fanfare and celebration to go along with it. In contrast, their day started rather discreetly, nearby in a quiet suite at the Le Meridian in Crystal City, Virginia.
