Every now and then, we’ll encounter a couple who’d happily eschew the traditional engagement session and opt for something a bit more close-to-home, intimate and true to themselves. Nicole and Matt are a fun-loving couple who reside in a cozy apartment somewhere along the cobble stone streets of the West Village, which was the perfect backdrop for their engagement session. We simply loved all the fine touches throughout their apartment, thanks in no small part to their insatiable hobby of awesome-stuff-finding on the internet :). And my answer is a pre-emptive and resounding “YES!”. Â Doesn’t everybody play on the bed in their nice going-out clothes?
Congrats to Nicole and Matt on your engagement and we can’t wait to see you guys again in a few more months. We hope you enjoy these as much as we enjoyed capturing them.
 As for us here at HQ, we’ve just gotten back from a beautiful four days in the Dominican Republic capturing one of the most beautiful wedding’s EVER. And of course, NJ welcomed us back home with a week of rain and flash-flood warnings. This should make for an interesting week of engagement sessions :).
