One of the most rewarding aspects of being a wedding photographer is when our clients become our friends. It’s even more touching when they consider us a part of their family. When we look back into 2012 and into 2013 (and beyond!), we’re able to trace much of that busy-ness back to Alexis and Mike. To say that we’re immensely grateful for all the love and support they’ve given us this past year would be the understatement of the century. The biggest plus in all of this is the fact that Alexis and Mike are two of the goofiest, funniest and kind-hearted individuals we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. All in all, it has been an absolute honor to capture their beautiful wedding day not only as their photographer, but also as their friends.
They started (and ended!) their day at the gorgeous Madison Hotel in Morristown, NJ.
Meanwhile, in the groom’s room…
Usually it’s Karis and I telling the jokes. We’ve finally met our match :).
If you thought some faces looked familiar, you guessed right :).
There’s actually a 3rd Ben Lau Photography couple in attendance…but they weren’t official till a few weeks after this evening ;).
I recently bought a chicken hat for our photo booth. I somehow knew it was going find its way onto the dance floor.
And with a crowd like this one, it would’ve been a travesty not to have a photo booth on site :).

Today, Lil Monster 2.0’s is 100 days old. According to Korean tradition (he’s 50% anyway) we’re supposed to be doing something awesome to commemorate the occasion. My contribution to the festivities will be setting up the photo booth.
Now I’ve got to go find that chicken hat :).
