In the dozens of times this couple’s been on this blog, I just realized that I’ve never mentioned the fact that I’ve known Jen and her family since we were in high school! Yah, just a minor detail there :). I was a friend/classmate of Jen’s older sister Mindy, so that would potentially make Jen right around 12 years old when we first met (more or less!). If you really want to dive deeper into this rabbit hole of craziness, one of Jen’s bridesmaid also happened to be my high school senior prom date! It was a mini-reunion of sorts when we arrived on the premises. To top things off, I couldn’t believe Jen’s folks still remembered me even after all these years. Back then, I was that obnoxious teenage kid who did cartwheels around the house; now I’m just an obnoxious older guy who does cartwheels around wedding venues with his camera :).

Jen and Jason, thanks so much for sharing your day with us! We wish you two a lifetime of happiness and we look forward to seeing you guys again in a few more weeks! We hope you enjoy these images as much as we enjoyed capturing them.
As for us, we’ve been running on overdrive these past few weeks as the second leg of the wedding season starts ramping up. It’s only going to get crazier these next few months (especially with Lil Monster #2 on the way!) and we wouldn’t have it any other way :). We’ve got tons of cool stuff coming your way, and we can’t wait to share them with you!
Happy Tuesday ya’ll,
Ben & Karis
