I found the bride hiding in the rear balcony of Kirkpatrick Chapel, huddled tightly behind an orderly rack of red clergy robes. She was quiet…pensive…much unlike the girl who was belting out Beyonce tunes at the top of her lungs that very same morning. At that moment, it was clear she was experiencing an extraordinarily distinctive feeling; a very specific one that she was currently sharing with billions of brides that came before her. I quietly slipped past a few of her guests and knelt beside her.
“Bailey! You got this!” I said to her. “You’re Sasha Fierce. No…even better…you’re Sosha Fierce!” (the bride’s last name)
“Thanks.” She smiled. “I’m so totally using that.”
Bailey & Noah’s day started with a lil Beyonce and a quick trip to the barber shop, respectively.
